View your Village from Cyberspace

Welcome to the Copthorne Village Association (CVA) Website, brought to you courtesy of our website sponsor Gary Burfield Wallis of Rogue Interactive

The CVA is Copthornes' residents association representing over 75% of the village community numbering some 1200 family households, (membership is by subscription of £5.00 donation from each household per annum).

The primary objective of the association is to preserve Copthorne and our village way of life from any issue that adversely impacts on our rural village community.

With this new Website our primary objective is to improve the flow of information to our members, in addition to our normal Newsletter.

The Copthorne Pavilion Project Needs YOU

The Copthorne Sports Club (CSC) has re-formed its committee in preparation for its AGM in July .....and this is where YOUR help is needed.

The CSC needs a business-minded Vice Chairperson - male or female, any age, be they at home, working or retired.
You will oversee the local fundraising - a special committee is being created for this - but, more importantly, help take the Club and Pavilion through to the 'built and open for business' stage.  It should not be time-consuming but will be very exciting, interesting and rewarding.  You do not even have to be a sports person, you might even be new to the village but you like organising and planning and will be enthusiastic to ensure the project is a success

If not you, then can you think of anyone?  If someone you think of is not interested, ask them who do they think would be good for the role? We want to cast the net as widely as possible to get the best person for the role.
Whether its you or someone you have asked and has expressed enthusiasm, please forward the name, telephone number and email address to info@copthornevillage.org and a member of the committee will be delighted to contact you / them to take it further.

The new pavilion will be a lasting legacy for all the village and YOU can play a major role in helping to bring this project to fruition.

Have your group linked

It is our aspiration that this website service will be adopted and used by everyone in Copthorne, all Community Groups of every age group, young and old. We believe by working together we can help to make our village a safer, closer and friendlier place to live, which in turn builds community and works to preserve our village way of life.
