| 1st Copthorne Scouts | We are a thriving group with strong attendance in each section. We currently have one Beaver Scout colony with about twenty four Beavers, two Cub packs with about sixty Cubs in total, two Scout troops with around thirty Scouts and an Explorer unit with about ten Explorer Scouts. |

Responsible for planning matters, refuse disposal, housing, street cleaning, licensing, benefits administration and some leisure facilities this could well be your first port of call if you have questions on most issues affecting your locality. Recent government surveys placed Mid Sussex first in the south east for clean streets and third in the whole country for efficiency savings which have been achieved without any loss of services. Another survey found 85% of Mid Sussex residents satisified with this area as a place to live. |
